In his Allmusic review, Scott Yanow called Liebman's playing on this album "out of tune".   HUH?

Dave Liebman - If They Only Knew (Timeless)

Bass – Ron McClure•Drums – Adam Nussbaum • Guitar – John Scofield•  Tenor Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone – David Liebman • Trumpet, Flugelhorn – Terumasa Hino

Dave Liebman - Drum Ode (1975)

Another Dave Liebman album but this one is more experimental, less rooted in funk and R'n'B grooves. Released on ECM in 1975, this record is a smorgosboard of rythms and rhodes. Richard Beirach plays rhodes, Gene Perla plays bass, John Abercrombie plays guitar, Jeff Williams and Bob Moses plays drums, Eleana Steinberg supplies vocals.

Michael Franks - Tiger in the Rain (FLAC, Bittorrent, Rapishare, Mediafire)

Tiger in the Rain (wikilink) is a 1979 album from the jazz singer Michael Franks. I present it here because of the enormous amount of great musicians on the record, including Kenny Barron and Ron Carter. It's good stuff, even for those not into "vocal jazz".
